Beyond the writing…

Brodie is a devoted husband and proud father to three remarkable children, who remain the center of his world and his greatest motivation. He lives in Stratford, Prince Edward Island, where family life shapes both his perspective and his priorities.

Outside the page, Brodie’s mission is simple and unwavering: to give his family the best life possible and to be fully present for every moment that matters. When he isn’t writing—or spending time with his family—he can usually be found immersed in baseball, a lifelong passion that sits somewhere between healthy dedication and unapologetic obsession.

Brodie’s writing…

Brodie has been drawn to storytelling for as long as he can remember, beginning with short stories written for friends and family when he was just a boy. What started as a private obsession grew into a lifelong craft—one shaped by lived experience, hard lessons, and an instinct for emotional truth.

His writing draws heavily from the real world: moments of loss, loyalty, violence, love, and survival. He weaves together emotional intensity and human vulnerability with grit and action, creating stories that feel raw, immersive, and uncomfortably real. Influenced by people he’s known and paths he’s walked, Brodie’s work aims to pull readers deep into morally complex worlds—where characters are scarred, choices matter, and nothing comes without a cost.
